The Saint Ubaldo Society recently purchased the former St. Stanislaus church building in Jessup, PA to serve as the new Saint Ubaldo Society Cultural Center.

The Center will serve Jessup and its surrounding communities as a shrine to Saint Ubaldo, a museum of “La Festa dei Ceri” in Jessup, and a community gathering area. The Center will be home to the Society’s most cherished assets, which include gifts and other items used in the annual “Corsa dei Ceri.” The items are very rich in tradition and include a relic of Saint Ubaldo. They represent a connection to Jessup’s early days during the great immigration and to the city of Gubbio, Italy.
The Society is in the middle of a major fundraising campaign to fund the purchase of the Center, and to perform necessary repairs on the structure. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. Contributions to the Society are deductible under 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Dr. Fred Rosetti is the Executive Director of the campaign by serving as campaign chairman.
